E-commerce analytics
Analytics for online stores. Data you can trust.
I set up GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversions in Google Ads and Meta, and Consent Mode. This way you know which campaigns really sell, and the ad algorithms learn from real data.
Scope
What I implement and fix
Full measurement of the customer journey: from the first visit to purchase and return to the store.
01
Google Analytics 4
E-commerce events with value and products: from product view, through the cart, to purchase. With the right currency and no duplicate transactions.
02
Google Tag Manager
A tidy container, clear tag names and one place to manage measurement.
03
Google Ads conversions
Conversions with order value and enhanced conversions, so Smart Bidding has good data.
04
Pixel and Conversions API
Purchase events sent to Meta from both the browser and the server, without duplicates, even when browsers block tracking.
05
Consent Mode v2
Measurement that complies with cookie consent requirements, connected to your store’s consent banner. Version 2, which Google requires in the EU.
06
Traffic sources and UTMs
Consistent tagging of links from campaigns, newsletters and social media, so your reports have no traffic without a source.
07
Search Console and Merchant Center
Linked with GA4 and Google Ads, so you see search queries and product performance in one place.
08
Server-side tracking
Server-side Google Tag Manager when browser blockers and missing consent undercount your data. I implement it when it brings a real benefit.
09
Reports
A Looker Studio dashboard with the numbers that matter: revenue, margin and customer acquisition cost.
Process
How I implement analytics
First I check what already works, then I fill the gaps.
1
Measurement audit
I check what is tracked and how, and compare the data with your store.
2
Measurement plan
A list of the events, conversions and parameters I will implement.
3
Implementation and testing
I configure the tags and test every event before publishing.
4
Documentation
You get a description of the setup, so everyone on your team knows what is where.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why do GA4 and Google Ads show different numbers?
Each tool attributes sales to sources differently and counts them at a different time. Some differences are normal. Large differences usually mean a measurement error.
What is Consent Mode?
It’s a way of passing information about users’ cookie consent to Google. It lets you keep some conversion data when someone doesn’t give consent.
Do I need server-side tracking?
Not always. First I sort out the basic measurement. I recommend server-side solutions when the data really requires it.
Will you implement analytics on my store?
Yes. I work with popular e-commerce platforms and Google Tag Manager. We agree on the details after I check your store.
Let’s check whether your data tells the truth
Write or call. I’ll tell you what’s missing from your measurement.
